B3 Wassily chair, design by Marcel Breuer in 1925.
Chair designed by Marcel Breuer between 1925 and 1926 when he was head of the Bauhaus joinery workshop.
Breuer made one for Wassily Kandisky's personal office, hence when the chair was reissued by the Italian firm Gavina it was known to Wassily. Made of bent, chrome-plated steel tubes and white synthetic leather.
Manufacture from the 1970s. It shows chrome wear and a rust point on the tubes and wear on the skin, visible in the photographs.
Measurements: 80x76x76 cm.
