B3 Wassily chair, design by Marcel Breuer in 1925.
Chair designed by Marcel Breuer between 1925 and 1926 when he was head of the Bauhaus cabinetmaking workshop. Breuer made one for Wassily Kandisky's personal office, which is why later when the chair was reissued by the Italian firm Gavina it was known as Wassily.
Made of bent and chromed steel tubes and black leather. Manufacture from the 1970s.
It shows wear of the chrome and some rust spots on the tubes. The backrest has been repainted in one spot, visible in one of the photographs.
Measurements: 72x74x77 cm.
